In 2001 I trained at the Royal National College for the Blind, to become a Remedial Therapist, where I gained an I.T.E.C Diploma in Swedish massage, Indian Head Massage & Reflexology. The following year I gained a B.T.E.C. Diploma, in Sports Massage Therapy at the London School of Sports Massage, recognised by the Sports Massage Association. I am now additionally qualified in On-Site Chair Massage & Aromatherapy.
While previously working as a Fitness Instructor I had the opportunity to compete in judo for Great Britain, in the Sydney and Athens Paralympic Games as well as the World Judo Championships, held in Rome, Paris and Canada. While training as an international judo player I soon learnt to appreciate what Complementary Therapies, especially Sports/Deep Tissue Massage had to offer and once qualified I had the opportunity to massage in the South of France, Brazil, Germany and Italy. After completing the advanced gym apprenticeship in 2008, I decided I would improve my career by teaching studio fitness classes as well. More recently I competed in an international skiing event for visually impaired people (Ridderrennet).
My complementary Therapy business generally operates from the Keats Health Complementary Therapy Clinic, in Enfield Town.
